A calm, creative & fun space where kids are inspired to connect, create & flourish as their most unique & joyful self.
In this Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Holiday Workshop, we connect with Spring & the themes of growth, creativity & new beginnings that the season brings us. This workshop offers kids the space to explore in ways that are meaningful to them by engaging their freedom of expression through imagination, creativity & fun.
By learning how to access the connection between their body, breath, emotions & mind, kids are guided toward the experience of a calm & clear mind, compassion, confidence, connection to self & other, soothing the nervous system, balancing the emotions, coordination, focus, and body-awareness.
The inquisitive nature of the child is embraced through storytelling, fun group & partner poses & yoga games, yoga poses, breathing exercises, music, creative journaling, character building & growth mindset activities, affirmations, craft, essential oils, guided meditation & relaxation.
Kids will leave feeling empowered with a little inner toolkit to nurture their own calm space, grow their confident mind & share their compassionate heart.
Ash is a certified Children’s Yoga Specialist, trained under the guidance of international children’s yoga expert Loraine Rushton of Zenergy Yoga. Ash is a Mindfulness Teacher & holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Wollongong.
Ash weaves her learning, experience & love of yoga, meditation, Buddhism & psychology throughout her approach. She passionately believes in a proactive holistic approach toward children’s wellbeing as the way forward for us to positively impact this generation to be empowered, compassionate, connected & kind.
Ash creates & facilitates Kids Yoga & Mindfulness programs in schools and teaches Buddhism & Mindfulness with the Nan Tien Buddhist Temple SRE Program in schools. Ash feels a natural affinity with kids & is passionate about guiding them toward their own inner power to courageously shine as their uniquely authentic self.
A mother of 3 & South Coast local, Ash is always lovingly guided in her own yoga journey at the Berry Yoga Shala by her two beautiful & inspiring teachers, Anna & Ali.
